The Art of Black and White Photography

In this foundation class, students will learn the entire process of black and white photography. Beginning with aperture and f/stop, students will learn how to use their cameras, how to process film, and how to print their own photographs in the darkroom. A starter package of 2 rolls of film and a package of paper is included in the class fee. Students must have their own manual 35mm cameras to work with. Class size is limited to 7 students.

Don Rea- After graduating from Wesleyan University with a degree in Studio Art, Don launched a photo studio specializing in architecture. In 1990 he moved to the Susquehanna Valley where he worked for several years as a commercial photographer, before turning to the Web. He now works at Bucknell L&IT and makes photographs only for his own satisfaction.
