Alumni Relations/Career Development Center Specialists
AR/CDC Specialists split their time between their core duties (2-4 hours per week) and one program area (4-5 hours per week). All positions are for the 2009 - 2010 academic year. Applicants must plan to be on campus for entire academic year.

- Read about the open Specialist Program Areas for 2009-2010 academic year
Students interested in any of the positions are encouraged to submit their resume and cover letter (stating the position(s) they are most interested in) via the BRIDGE. Deadline to apply will be in mid-April 2010
In addition, the AR/CDC sponsors Fremont Scholars (an international student), who assists with projects related to the career needs of international students (in addition to his/her assigned program area).
General Qualifications for Specialists positions
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing for the academic year 2009 - 2010; ANY/ALL majors may apply
- Desire to learn about and promote AR/CDC services and programs to all Bucknell students and alumni
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), creativity, empathy, teamwork skills, and leadership potential
- A history of being responsible, punctual, and dependable
- Comfort with computers (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new computer software programs
- Accuracy and attention to detail; Flexibility, independence, and initiative
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to provide 7-10 scheduled hours per week, with occassional extra and/or evening hours
- Ability to attend a four-day training period in August prior to start of school year
- Must have good phone etiquette/presence
