The MCAT is now offered several times each year and is computer based. You will need to determine when and where you want to take the exam. You should look at the official MCAT site for the most recent published information on taking the exam.

You need to decide if you will take the exam from school (nearest location is Harrisburg) or your home, or the home of a friend or relative, or from a hotel.

Register for the exam as early as possible, sometime five or six months prior to the exam time. The sites and times available may be very limited. For April and May 2007 tests, taken in the North East, including Pennsylvania, the registration begins on Feb. 22, 2007. Other regions have earlier registration dates.

Before you register be sure you know when final exams end. DO NOT reigster to take the exam during Bucknell's final exam week.
