Our Mission:

The Office of Housing & Residential Life is committed to delivering quality service that compliments the development of students in their residential living experience. We educate student leaders and empower them to create and mentor a community. This allows students to develop intellectual maturity, personal conviction, and strength of character, informed by an appreciation of diverse cultures and perspectives.

The Office of Housing & Residential Life works in partnership with other university departments in the management of the residence halls, to respond to student needs and concerns, and provide ongoing support to our students.

The Office of Housing & Residential Life works to intentionally educate the whole student by providing opportunities for leadership, civic and academic engagement, and a healthy intellectual environment. We challenge students to openly reflect on their character development, to take responsibility for their personal decisions and actions, and define their role within a diverse world.

The Office of Housing & Residential Life works to provide students with the opportunity to live as a responsible member of the residence community. We foster ways for students to develop interpersonal relationships, community dialogue, and an appreciation and understanding of themselves and others.
