BuckWild
The Bucknell Wilderness Experience (BuckWild) is a dynamic outdoor pre-orientation program held in Central Pennsylvania surrounding Lewisburg and Bucknell, August 12 - 16, 2012. Participating in BuckWild is a great way to meet your new classmates and to learn more about yourself. Participants have the option of signing up for one of several trip options which include hiking, rock climbing, paddling, and participating in high and low rope courses at base camp. This activity is sponsored by the Office of Outdoor Education and Leadership and is an optional program.
The program begins with arrival on campus August 12 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Participants depart for BuckWild trips on Monday, August 13 and return to Bucknell on Thursday, August 16. New Student Orientation begins Friday, August 17.
More detailed information including medical forms, clothing and equipment needs, and move-in details will be provided upon registration of the program. The cost of the program is $475 inclusive of all meals, t-shirt, and all program expenses. Some scholarship money is available if needed. Registration will close on July 6, 2012.
