The Bucknell University Environmental Center brings together faculty and students to explore environmental issues from multiple and integrated disciplinary perspectives. Some fifty faculty members from across campus—natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and engineering—are working on a range of research projects aimed at better understanding the nexus between humans and the environment. Integral in the Center’s activities is the promotion of interdisciplinary, student-centered learning including student-faculty research, field-based course offerings, and service learning opportunities.
