Sources of information for course selections

Your individualized list of requirements is called an APR (Academic Progress Report) and is available through BANNER WEB or MyBucknell. It lists all requirements for declared majors and all general requirements for those who have yet to declare a major.  Students should look at their APR every semester before registration so that they are aware of any requirements they need to fulfill and they should contact the Registrar's Office immediately if they find any errors or discrepancies in the report. Unmet requirements are indicated by a “finger” icon:

You can find the list of courses being offered in any particular term by requirement, department, or partial credit at the Course Schedule Lookups or navigate from Bucknell Home > Current Students, Faculty and Staff > Course Information.

The requirements met by any particular course are signified by codes listed at the top of each page:

The "Crse Guide" link take you to a longer, more detailed description of the course.  For example:

As you consider various majors, you will find the requirements listed in the University Catalog.  On-line these are listed by major under “Course Descriptions”.  Some minors are listed with the department of the related major.  All minors are optional.  A short course description is provided in the Catalog for all courses offered, although it's important to note that the only way to know what courses are being offered in any given term is to look in Course Information.
