East Asia

Digital Image Collection

Introduction to the Collection

The East Asian Studies Collection is still considered a pilot project. The project was initiated by Martha Shaunessy of the Bucknell University East Asian Studies Department as a way to share images of East Asia with the educational community. Photographs in the initial collection were taken by participants of a grant-sponsored trip to China during 2005. Additional photographs are being added to the collection by Bucknell students, staff, and alumni. A full release of the collection will be available to the public during Fall 2007.
