These Czech musicians return to the Weis Center on the occasion of the orchestra’s 30th anniversary, having survived Soviet occupation, the “Velvet” revolution, and the fall of communism. This performance features some rarely heard classical gems and showcases the outstanding talents of both the solo oboist of the renowned Czech Philharmonic and a young Czech violin virtuoso.
