DVD and Video Collection

The library has a significant collection of educational and feature films that support the curriculum at Bucknell University. Recreational items are also available. The preferred format of the collection is DVD, but VHS films are acquired if no DVD is available.

Each year, the library collects most theatrical Oscar and Golden Globe winners and nominees, as well as other significant feature films and television programs.

Faculty and staff may contact their subject librarian or use the Online Order Form to request the purchase of a title for the collection.

To search for films in the library catalog use the "Advanced Search Options", and limit the format to "Video or DVD".

A search for "feature films" is also a popular way to browse this collection online. Also, most feature films are shelved in the PN1997 call number range for easy browsing.
