Book Collection

Bertrand Library has an extensive collection of books, totaling more than a half million volumes. The collection is designed primarily to support the university's curriculum.

There is also a Current Reading Collection located on the library's main level for recreational reading.

Use the library catalog to search by author, title, subject, or keyword for books and other materials in the library's collection. The Item Details screen will give you the call number and floor location for each item. Once you're on the correct floor of the library, use the guide cards attached to the shelving with the call number ranges to find the shelf where your item is located.

Additional bibliographic information can be found by clicking on the Catalog Record for an item.  On this page you will also find the Subject terms that have been assigned to the item, which can be clicked on to access other items in the catalog with the same Subject term.
