Shara McCallum is Associate Professor of English, Director of the Stadler Center for Poetry, and Director of the Bucknell in Barbados Program for the spring of 2009.  She is the author of two books of poetry, Song of Thieves and The Water Between Us.  Her poems and personal essays have appeared in numerous literary journals and been reprinted in over twenty anthologies of American, African American, Caribbean, and World poetry.
