Bucknell hosts AIDS Walk

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell University will host the annual AIDS Walk Saturday, Sept. 15. The walk, which benefits AIDS Resource Alliance, begins at 8:45 a.m. on the Sojka lawn next to the Kenneth Langone Athletics and Recreation Center at Bucknell.
No preregistration is required. Interested participants can register on Sept. 15 beginning at 8 a.m. on the Sojka lawn. Free T-shirts will be distributed to the first 100 walkers.
Individual participants are requested to raise a minimum of $15, and teams are requested to raise a minimum of $75.

AIDS Resource Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides critical education programs, prevention, and outreach efforts to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in the local community.
AIDS Resource also provides much needed assistance for those who are living with HIV/AIDS, including food, transportation, nutritional supplements, medical and pharmaceutical assistance as well as rental and utility bills assistance, and counseling.
