Assistant Professor Water Resources EngineeringWATER RESOURCES ENGINEERING Tenure Track - Bucknell University is seeking an individual to fill an entry-level tenure track position in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering as an Assistant Professor beginning Fall, 2008. Candidates should have an earned doctorate at the time of appointment in Civil/Water Resources Engineering or a closely related area. An undergraduate civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program is preferred, and professional and teaching experience is desirable. The successful candidate must have the ability to (i) provide outstanding classroom and laboratory instruction for water resources engineering and introductory engineering courses, and (ii) develop professionally through research and other scholarly activities. Expertise in experimental methods, planning, sustainability, systems, and/or GIS is desirable. The appointed candidate will be expected to seek professional registration. Candidates with an interest in and potential for teaching and interacting effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives are particularly encouraged to apply.
