Introduction to the Collection

The Multicultural Masks Collection, a collection of over 250 objects, contains images of theatrical and ritual masks from around the world. The collection contains over 100 masks from Africa, 35 from Latin America, 30 from Oceania, and nearly 100 from other regions.

The collection contains images licensed from various vendors and are licensed specifically for educational use including classroom projection or student research. The metadata schema was loosely based on VRA Core 3.0.
