 | The De Gregorio Collection of Antiquities is a digital image archive representing a variety of artifacts that were donated to Bucknell University by Mr. and Mrs. Bart De Gregorio. These artifacts focus on the history of the written language.
This extraordinary collection encompasses wedge-shaped script on Babylonian cuneiform clay tablets, Egyptian hieroglyphs on papyrus, a Mesoamerican ceremonial implement carved on bone, Armenian illuminated manuscript scroll, and many other examples.
This collection is part of Bucknell University's Special Collections Digital Archive. | Viewing Tools | The collection of digital images is viewable within Luna Imaging Inc.'s Insight software.
