Benjamin Rosenstock ‘09 was charged with theft of generic Adderall on Aug. 30, a second-degree misdemeanor, the police report said. Rosenstock declined to comment on his situation. He will attend a hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 4 with Leo Armbruster, the Lewisburg magistrate. Armbruster does not have a reputation for being particularly tough on University students, Professor of sociology Matthew Silberman said. “Leo Armbruster has a reputation for being fair and unbiased,” Silberman said. According to the report, Rosenstock stole prescribed Adderall from Kim Fishbach ‘09 in April 2007. Wal-Mart pharmacy valued the generic Adderall 10 mg tablets at $59.68. James Middleton, Public Safety administrative lieutenant, signed the affidavit on Aug, 30. The affidavit said that Rosenstock agreed to tell the truth after being Mirandized four times. A second University student, Ryan Schellhorn ‘10, was arrested on Aug. 13 for selling Adderall and marijuana to a fellow student. He is facing felony charges and has left the University.
