Two University students were charged with drug-related crimes involving Adderall in August.

Benjamin Rosenstock ‘09 was charged with theft of generic Adderall on Aug. 30, a second-degree misdemeanor, the police report said.

Rosenstock declined to comment on his situation.

He will attend a hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 4 with Leo Armbruster, the Lewisburg magistrate.

Armbruster does not have a reputation for being particularly tough on University students,  Professor of sociology Matthew Silberman said.

“Leo Armbruster has a reputation for being fair and unbiased,” Silberman said.

According to the report, Rosenstock stole prescribed Adderall from Kim Fishbach ‘09 in April 2007.

Wal-Mart pharmacy valued the generic Adderall 10 mg tablets at $59.68.

James Middleton, Public Safety administrative lieutenant, signed the affidavit on Aug, 30.

The affidavit said that Rosenstock agreed to tell the truth after being Mirandized four times.

A second University student, Ryan Schellhorn ‘10, was arrested on Aug. 13 for selling Adderall and marijuana to a fellow student.

He is facing felony charges and has left the University. (read full article)
