Fitness/Wellness Programs
Welcome to Recreation Services Fitness/Wellness events! This year, we are focusing on improving our Bucknell Community wellness through our initiative, "Shape UP Bucknell"! Programs are varied and diversified targeting the mass population at Bucknell! Additionally, we have reached out to departments and offices across campus in hopes of creating campus accountability for our wellness utopia.
In addition to traditional programming: Fitness Consultations, Equipment Orientations, Group Fitness Classes, Tennis Clinics and Aquatic Stroke Clinics we are excited to offer the following new programming initiatives in hopes of reaching out to those individuals teetering back and forth from physical activity. New programs gracing the campus this semester are:
- Fitness Incentive Program
- Equipment Orientations, Fitness Consultations
- Group Fitness, Aqua Jogging, Adult Stroke Clinics, BOSU Blast
- Bike Maintenance (Mountain and Road), Nutrition Clinics, Qigong Clinics, FREE Tennis Clinics
- Multicultural Movement Mondays
- American Red Cross Trainings (CPR/AED and Lifeguard)
The Department of Athletics and Recreation will team up with the following campus offices:
Bookstore, Bucknell Dining, Community Health Promotion, Human Resources, Multicultural Student Services, Psychological Services, Student Health Services, and Women's Resource Center
