PRAYER

For when the hills polite in silence silence the night

Falling in with them

And the moon looks away

Lift the wine to them is it possible

How many others failed

Their fictions of confidence to no end

Is it possible to disappoint

Tomorrow now

Lift the wing look it makes of speech the wound intended
