What is a Bucknell Legacy?
A Bucknell legacy is a descendant of a Bucknell alumnus/a. This relationship would include parents and step parents, grand parents and step grand parents, great grand parents and step great grand parents...etc.
If you are an alumnus/a with children, let us know. Descendants of Bucknell alumni have access to special programs and events like those listed below.
Legacy Program Events
Begin the Journey
for 8th and 9th graders
An introduction to college life for young high schools students through speakers, activities, and interaction with current Bucknell students.
College Admissions Workshop
Our admissions staff and visiting experts offer a variety of instructional programming that assists families in the college search and application process.
College Admissions Forum
Staffed by members of the admissions office and guest speakers, this half-day forum provides you with timely presentations and information on various segments of the college search.
Other Legacy Admissions Events
for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
Reception (Homecoming Weekend) for high school seniors and their families -- an opportunity to meet with Admissions staff members for informal conversations and to participate in a question and answer session.
College 101 (Homecoming Weekend) for high school sophomores and juniors -- pointers about embarking on the college search as well as Bucknell-specific information.
Bucknell Today (Reunion Weekend) A preview of Bucknell's programs, opportunities, and the Admissions process.
