Visiting Professor Environmental Engineering

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING - Bucknell University is seeking an individual to fill a visiting faculty position in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank beginning Fall, 2008. This is a one-year appointment with the possibility of re-appointment for a second year. Candidates should have an earned doctorate at the time of appointment in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a closely related area. An undergraduate civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program is preferred, and professional and teaching experience is desirable. The successful candidate must have the ability to provide outstanding classroom and laboratory instruction for environmental engineering and introductory engineering courses. Candidates with an interest in and potential for teaching and interacting effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives are particularly encouraged to apply.

In addition to the BS in Civil Engineering, the department also offers MS degrees in Environmental Engineering and in Civil Engineering.
