FUSION OF FINE LITERATURE, ART, AND CRAFTSMANSHIPHistory of Series
INTRODUCTORY NOTEThe Rainmaker Editions were the generous gift of Brenda E. O’Boyle Griego, Bucknell Class of 1988, to the Special Collections of the Bertrand Library. Ms. Griego, who graduated with a B.A. degree in Biology and English, is Director, Comprehensive Capital Campaign of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation.
These extraordinarily beautiful, superbly executed imprints, produced in editions limited to 125-400 signed copies, fuse fine literature, distinctive artistic interpretation, and superior craftsmanship.
All Rainmaker Editions and Rainmaker Translations are part of the Rainmaker Collection in Special Collections. Note on Rainmaker Translations: From Title Page, Yalo: "Rainmaker Translations are supported by grants from the Black Mountain Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting literary and cross-cultural dialogue around the world." Drawn from diverse languages and cultures, Rainmaker Translations supports the availability of contemporary world literature translated to the English language as a way to encourage better awareness and tolerance for diverse cultural, political, and social ideas.
