Who’s Afraid of the Tasmanian Wolf?: A Lecture, by Kenzaburo-Oe; Translated by Kunioki Yanagishita; With Japanese Calligraphy by Kazuko Akiba. [Las Vegas]: Rainmaker Editions, 2003. Original translation of essay based on lecture concerning the future of Japanese culture, by Kenzaburo-Oe, who was named Nobel Laureate. Japanese calligraphy enhances the translated essay.

Decorative covers are printed with excerpts of calligraphic text. In black linen-covered box with gold calligraphic lettering on spine. Types were cast by Michael Bixler at his press and letter foundry in Skaneateles, New York. Designed and printed letterpress by C. Mikal Oness, and the Sutton Hoo Press Maple House Fellows, at the Sutton Hoo Press, Winona, Minnesota; and ‘Little Doris’ Allison Quam, Zumbo River Press [Winona State University]. #7 of 399 signed/stamped copies.
