Coffeehouse Days, by Ismail Kadare; Translated by Pirro Dollani; Photo-Montages by Peter Rutledge Koch. [Las Vegas]: Rainmaker Editions, 2004. Story by prize-winning Albanian author Ismail Kadare. Translated for the first time into English by Pirro Dollani. With eleven original photo-montages by artist/designer/printer Peter Rutledge Koch, of Peter Koch, Printers, Berkeley, California. Designed and printed by Peter Rutledge Koch.

Enclosed in metal box silk-screened in black ink on upper cover. Inner cover was bound by John De Merritt, Bookbinder. Printed with antique wood types in black and red. Boxes were produced by G. and L. Manufacturing.

From Colophon: "Typeface designed (in several states of decay) especially for this edition by Christopher Stinehour, based on Paul Rennen’s Futura Bold"; "… Photographs of Albania were found in the dustbins of history… ." Christopher Stinehour designed the type at Stinehour Christopher Design, Berkeley, California. #7 of 99 copies signed by author and artist/designer/printer.
