SPECIAL SEATING
Special seating arrangements are available on a limited basis for those confined to a wheel chair.  Arrangements can be made for special seating by calling telephone number 570-577-2377 before May 1, 2010.  Guests should be advised that the outdoor ceremony is held in an unshaded area.

RAIN LOCATION
In case of rain, Commencement will be held in the Gerhard Fieldhouse.  Graduates will receive five tickets each for the indoor cermemony when they pick up their cap and gown. Those guests who do not have tickets may view Commencement via closed circuit television in the Weis Center for Performing Arts.  If the ceremony is moved to the indoor location, announcements will be made throughout campus, on local radio stations, on the Campus Alert line at 570-577-2020 and through the University switchboard at 570-577-2000.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO INFORMATION

  • A photographer from GradImages will be at your ceremony to take a candid photograph of you at your special moment of recogniton.
  • You will receive a free passport-sized digital proof of this photo on an order card within 5-7 days following the ceremony.
  • Questions may be e-mailed to service@gradimages.com.
  • After the ceremony you may order online at www.gradimages.com or call 800-261-2576.
  • Since photographs will be available, family members and guests are encouraged to remain in their seats, relax and enjoy the ceremony.
  • PRIOR TO THE CEREMONY: Pre-register your permanent email address, please visit www.gradimages.com and click on the Pre-Event Registration.  You may add contact information for up to 6 additional relatives and/or friends.

FLOWERS
The Parent's Fund and Family Programs will offer an opportunity to purchase red or orange roses.  A detailed letter will be mailed to parents..

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS
A mailing will be sent out early February providing directions for ordering graduation announcements on-line through a link at the Unviversity Bookstore.  Annnouncements also may be ordered directly through Balfour by calling 1-877-225-3687.
