Study Abroad Opportunities
1. Semester abroad.The department strongly encourages students enrolled in all its degree programs to spend a semester abroad. There are possibilities through Bucknell own programs such as Bucknell in London, Bucknell en France, and Bucknell en España, but also through programs offered by other universities. Most recently, our students have spent semesters abroad in Australia, Austria, England, Germany, and Italy. The academic advisers, the department’s International Studies Adviser, and the Office of International Education can assist students in planning for a semester abroad. 2. ENGR 290 Engineering in a Global/Societal Context.This 3-week summer course is available to BS in Computer Science and Engineering students. In recent years, this course has taken students to England and to Argentina; future plans include Switzerland, France, Germany, and Brazil. | Student Testimonials
