- Beyond Unison founders' farewell
This Saturday, Beyond Unison will hold their last solo concert of the year at 3 p.m. in Bucknell Hall. This is also the final concert for the last remaining founding members of the University’s fourth a cappella group. Laura Householder ’08 and Anna Riker ’08 will be graduating this May. The third founding member, John Backhaus ’07, graduated last year.
- Students go silent for LGBT
The University will be celebrating the Day of Silence, an event annually observed to symbolize the harassment and persecution of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender/Transsexual) community.
- Students, professors reflect on Bush’s questionable legacy
As George W. Bush’s second term comes to an end and the race for the presidency battles on, citizens may start to evaluate decisions and actions made by the current administration. Often this evaluation is the basis for retrospective voting in the upcoming election.
