Capitol Hill Internship Program

The Capitol Hill Internship Program was established in 2005 to provide up to eight internship opportunities in Washington, DC or local Congressional districts for students who are interested in learning more about the Legislative Branch of government.


The selection process is competitive and students are encouraged to start the application process early, especially since a faculty letter of recommendation is required. The application deadline is Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. via the BRIDGE.

About the Program

The Capitol Hill Internship Program provides a stipend of $250 per week up to a maximum of $2,500 for students who are able to secure an internship provided that the internship is unpaid and not for academic credit. Read More
