Solar Installation at Bucknell West

In April of 2007 Solar Scholars Team assembled two solar arrays at the University Mods near the the intersection of Route 15 and Smoketown Rd. The installation provides partial power to one of the student Mods with two 8-panel arrays: 1) a 1.6 kW fixed array (capable of minor seasonal adjustment) and 2) a 1.6 kW moving array that uses a passive system to track the movement of the sun throughout the day.
