The 2007-2008 year featured 34 chapter members who participated in numerous departmental service activities, community outreach events, and planned social events. One example of their work is weekly tutoring for a broad range of chemistry classes. And one of the major events sponsored by SAACS is organizing a weeklong celebration on campus of National Chemistry Week, featuring the creation of a periodic table of cupcakes among their activities for this week.
In addition, seventeen chapter members presented research at meetings, which were often large national meetings. Chapter members attended not less than 21 chemistry related seminars on Bucknell's campus that year!
