The Bison is the university’s athletic symbol and is used on materials primarily related to athletics.

Always maintain a 6.5º angle from the horizontal base line of the logo.

Guidelines for Using the Athletics

Logos

The Bison athletics identity marks are restricted in use to Bucknell University, and may not be used otherwise without the express consent of the department of athletics and recreation. The cornerstone of the Bucknell athletics identity is the new primary mark identified by the “Stampeding Bison.” This mark is the preferred primary athletics mark and should be used on the majority of athletics communication devices. In addition to the primary mark, there is a secondary mark identified by the Bucknell bison head.

The athletics marks are not to be altered in any manner and shall be the only permissible logos used by Bucknell’s department of athletics and recreation. Anyone else wishing to use the athletics marks should contact the athletics external relations office.
