History

Since 1983:

What is now the Samek Art Gallery has been located on the third floor on the Langone Center

2001:

Renamed for Bucknell and Gallery patrons Edward and Marthann Samek, after a generous gift to the university in 2001

1999 - 2001:

Named the Bucknell Art Gallery

1983 - 1998:

Known as the Center Gallery

Prior to 1983:

Exhibitions were presented in the university library and other spaces on campus
