LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host the workshop, "Gaining Ground in an Economic Slowdown," on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the SBDC Business Education Center, 207 Chamberlin Building in Lewisburg.
Topics to be covered include the state of the current economy's impact on business, cost analysis, cash flow analysis, tips on reducing costs and increasing sales; consideration of new opportunities; new marketing strategies; and other resources available.
Maureen Hauck, assistant director for business consulting with the Bucknell SBDC, will lead the workshop. With the Bucknell SBDC since March 2000, Hauck has more than 20 years of business experience including retail management, marketing, advertising, salesmanship, and personnel management. She holds her degrees in business administration and secondary education from Bloomsburg University.
