Class of 2006

The crest of the Class of 2006 includes the class colors: red, silver, and black.  The red represents the passion in which they change the world, the silver represents their swiftness in doing so, and the black represents the permanence of their changes.  The class motto is Our passion motivates, our knowledge changes the world.  The main focal point of the crest is the book, which signifies their collective knowledge that is inspired by the fires of passion.  The students expressed in the ceremony that from Bucknell they will take their knowledge to the four corners of the globe, represented by the four vines reaching from the book to the earth.
