LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Samek Art Gallery at Bucknell University will present the annual student art show April 10 to 28.

"The annual show provides Bucknell students, the University community and regional audience an opportunity to view student works," said Dan Mills, director of the Samek Art Gallery.

Variety of art works
"The works in the exhibition are created by undergraduates in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture classes ranging from introductory to advanced classes," said Cynthia Peltier, operations manager of the Samek Art Gallery.

"The student art show also includes work by studio graduate assistants Rachel Heberling, Sarah Knouse and Amanda Kline," Peltier said.

"This portion of the show gives undergraduate students a chance to see developing young professionals prepare for a career in the arts."

The Samek Art Gallery is located on the third floor of the Elaine Langone Center. Admission is free. Gallery hours during the academic year are weekdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., weekends 1 to 5 p.m., and by appointment.
