Class of 2007

The crest of the Class of 2007 includes the class colors, blue and silver, as well as the class motto, Lead with honor, succeed with pride. The foundation for choosing the motto is best described by sharing the words shared at the ceremony.  "Bucknell’s commitment to the class of 2007 is to provide an education and experience that will prepare us for the future so that we can become the leaders of tomorrow. On campus we are exposed to multiple disciplines, extracurricular programs, and volunteerism to enrich our spirit and our minds.  By example we learn ethics, respect, dedication, loyalty, and excellence. Once we graduate and join the global community, it will be our obligation to lead our generation to make a positive difference in the world for ourselves, our children, and for the generations to follow.  Therefore, we must lead with honor to succeed with pride."  The crest depicts the sun which represents the brightness of their potential and the pathway through the Christy Mathewson Gates that represents their path to the future.
