Student Awards Fall 2010
Bucknell University has a long tradition of recognizing the accomplishments of our students in the classroom, the lab, and the playing field, as well as the university community and the world beyond Bucknell. The Provost's office working with faculty and staff throughout the university formally acknowledges these accomplishments with a variety of endowed and named awards and prizes given at two times during the academic year. The outstanding achievements of students during the first year, sophomore, and junior years are recognized each fall semester during the Fall Student Awards Ceremony, traditionally held during Family Weekend. The accomplishments of our seniors are celebrated during Commencement Weekend at the President's Senior Award Ceremony. These prizes and awards are not given unless a high degree of merit has been achieved. In addition, these prizes and awards are given in compliance with the University's policy of nondiscrimination.
