Annual Student Reading

Each year the Annual Student Reading gathers the winners of Bucknell's two undergraduate creative writing contests for a formal reading in Bucknell Hall. The Cadigan Prizes for Younger Writers, judged by a recent contributor to West Branch magazine, awards first and second place cash prizes in poetry and prose. The Julia Fonville Smithson Memorial Prize, established in the memory of a Bucknell graduate who died in 1977, awards cash prizes for winning manuscripts in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.

The 2013 Annual Student Reading will take place on Friday, April 19, 5 p.m. in Bucknell Hall. The readers for 2013 will be announced in the spring semester.
