How to Apply to CHOICE

The Bucknell CHOICE Residential Program

Incoming Students

In May, you will receive information from Housing Services in the mail regarding your housing contract and what forms you need to complete before your arrival in August. One of these forms, The Residence Hall Assignment Questionnaire, includes a question indicating your interest in living in CHOICE Housing.

When you answer "Yes" to this question, you will be required to include a brief statement as to why you want to be a part of the CHOICE program. After filling out the rest of the information on the online form, a page that identifies the CHOICE Program’s Core Community Values will appear. On this page, you will be asked to agree to these values as an incoming member of the CHOICE Program.

If you have selected to live within the Residential Colleges but are also indicating you want to be part of the CHOICE Program, you will live with your Residential College peers but still be included in all of the CHOICE events and correspondence as if you lived on a CHOICE floor.

Returning Students

Current students select to live in CHOICE housing during the Room Selection Process in April. There is a special "CHOICE Only" Room Selection Process that allows students to select housing in either Kress Hall. Students not in the program that wish to join are allowed to do so as space permits.
