Residential Colleges

McDonnell Hall houses several learning communities.

The Residential Colleges provide a unique living/learning environment for many Bucknell students. Currently housed in Smith and McDonnell Halls (with Alumni communities in Smith and many of the Small Houses), the Residential Colleges include programs or "colleges" in the Arts, Humanities, Social Justice, Society and Technology, the Environment, and a Global college. The Residential Colleges are a collaborative effort between the Faculty and the Office of Housing and Residential Life. The Residential Colleges rely heavily on the creative efforts and student leadership of Junior Fellows (JFs), Resident Fellows (RFs), Resident Assistants (RAs) and, of course, student community members. Kelly Finley, the Program Coordinator, is the primary facilitator of all Residential College programmatic efforts. The Residential Colleges are also academically lead by Senior Fellows (SFs) and the Academic Coordinator. What follows are brief descriptions of the individual colleges and other information helpful to obtaining a more thorough understanding of the Residential Colleges.

Visit the Residential Colleges website or email Kelly Finley, Residential Colleges Program Coordinator for more information.
