The Second Annual Patriot League Academic Conference will be held at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The conference will provide opportunities to learn about some of the best implementations of alternative pedagogies in all disciplines, including discussions of cutting edge and experimental techniques that enrich students' learning. This conference provides a unique and exciting opportunity for educators to see what the best Patriot League teachers do, and to explore possible collaborations with other Patriot League teacher-scholars. |

The conference will begin at noon on Friday, October 30th with a luncheon and talk by Ken Bain, noted scholar, teacher and author of What the Best College Teachers Do. Dr. Bain is currently the Vice Provost for Instruction, Professor of History and Director of the Research Academy for University Learning at Montclair State University. |

The conference will include panel discussions, poster sessions, workshops and presentations related to alternative pedagogies, which may include: |

There is no registration fee, however participants or their home institutions will be responsible for housing and transportation expenses. A detailed schedule and information about local accomodations will be forthcoming. Online registration has been extended through October 26th. |
