UEIP - Future of the program

With continued improvements and enhanced visibility, the Bucknell Undergraduate Executive Internship Program will grow in demand and influence, while never deviating from its central mission to provide interns with a meaningful experience essential both to the development of students and to Bucknell University.

The program will create well-rounded, professional students by providing mentorship opportunities with senior staff and administrators, facilitating interactions between interns and prominent University stakeholders, and working on meaningful and significant projects that affect the core of the University.

Promoting the program to outside journals and publications is also a priority for the future, as other schools will be able to use the model created at Bucknell University to form their own internship programs.

In the future, the program will expand where appropriate the level of professional and mentorship opportunities that Undergraduate Executive Interns enjoy in working with senior staff and others on campus.The program will also increase its recruitment efforts and its work publicizing the benefits of the program so that these internships establish themselves as among the most sought-after internship positions on campus.

We aim to give all students and leaders with a proven dedication and enthusiasm for Bucknell the maximum opportunity to become Undergraduate Executive Interns.
