Bachelor of Science Majors in Biology will be able to:
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the traditional core of biology (molecular, cellular, genetics, organismal, ecological). (1,6,8,9)
Demonstrate a substantive knowledge of other fields of science and how they relate to biology. (1,2,6)
Demonstrate a working knowledge of newer and/or specialty areas of biology (e.g., bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, etc.) and/or deeper knowledge of the traditional core areas of biology of particular interest to them. (1,6,8,9)
Apply their understanding of biology to their professional, personal and civic lives. (4,6,8,9)
Bachelor of Arts Majors in Biology will be able to:
