Reference Services for Guests

While the primary mission of the Bertrand Library is to support the curricular and research needs of Bucknell faculty, staff and students, it also welcomes community residents and other guests. Staff members at the Reference/Ask Desk are available to help locate online and print resources and to log on users who need to use the Reference area computers for research (after they have read and understood our policy for guest users). While we welcome non-Bucknell users to the library, we ask that they use our resources appropriately, be respectful of other users and understand that members of the Bucknell community have priority during busy times

In addition, the Bertrand Library is a Federal depository library. The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) was established by Congress to ensure that the American public has access to its Government's information. In this regard, Reference/Ask Desk staff are always available to assist community users in finding current and historical publications from the Federal Government.
