You'll also get to know your professors on a personal level. With a low student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1, you'll find yourself interacting with faculty members in and out of the classroom. Bucknell's small classes (half of the classes have 17 or fewer students) allow you to engage in stimulating class discussions that add to the university's academically intellectual environment.

You'll also learn through research with faculty mentors. At Bucknell, research isn't just for professors and graduate students -- and it's not restricted to students pursuing a science or engineering major. With a great number of diverse opportunities for applied learning, professors are always willing to advise students in their independent study or undergraduate research.
