A Life-changing Experience

Each year, about 300 Bucknell juniors and first-semester seniors from all majors take advantage of Bucknell's study-abroad program, one that extends to almost 60 countries around the world.

Students in all majors at Bucknell, including engineering, gain new and different perspectives by studying abroad. In recent years, over 40 percent of each graduating class has studied off campus.

The majority of students study in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, or Central and South America. Bucknell-run programs include Bucknell en France, Bucknell in London, and Bucknell in Barbados, with another program scheduled to open in Spain. With so many programs to choose from, Bucknell's Office of International Education will help you find the one best suited for your needs.

When you study abroad, you'll enjoy the opportunity to live in, experience, and come to know a new culture in ways that go far beyond the tourist's experience. You'll also learn to see your academic discipline through the eyes of that culture. No matter where you go, you'll be changed by the experience.
