Many Faces, One World EventBedecked in an array of colorful world flags, Larison Hall seemed like the University's very own United Nations on Sunday. Students from all backgrounds gathered to celebrate and share their own cultures at "Many Faces, One World," hosted by International Students Services, Fremont Class of 2012.
BAP "brakes" the poverty cycleJust one bicycle could change the world. That was the guiding principle for Bicycles Against Poverty (BAP), the microfinance project initiated by University students that distributed bicycles to Ugandans last summer.
