Christen Mowad '87, MD

Christen Mowad '87, MD graduated summa cum laude from Bucknell with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She went to graduate from the University of Pennsyvlania Medical School. Dr. Mowad completed her dermatology residency, and chief residency at Penn and was a member of the Dermatology department at The University of Pennsylvania until 1998. She then joined the faculty at Geisinger Medical Center where she currently practices. She has a subspecialty interest in contact dermatitis.

Dr. Mowad is active in both state and national societies. She currently serves as President of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatolgoy and is President- Elect of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. She is the author of more than 40 articles and chapters.
