Advancing Communities: Educating & Serving

Description:  Bucknell A.C.E.S. was formed in response to the dire situation of the poor in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic.  A.C.E.S. will specifically focus on three communities, Ceuta Abajo, San Luis, and Cabon.  A.C.E.S. plans to travel to DR to complete a service project, such as the digging of wells, the building of houses, helping with medical clinics, and offering short-term educational opportunities for children.  A.C.E.S. will bring awareness to the Bucknell campus and surrounding communities about humanitarian and developmental issues.
