When the sun goes down, while most return to their beds to rest from the busy day, he waits in the shadows. In the dead of night, he steps out of his hiding place to complete his mission. Silently, he sprints through the dark; neither doors nor walls will stop him. Quietly, he approaches the unsuspecting victim and as quickly as he arrives he ends their existence and disappears in the night, leaving no trace but a corpse.

Such murders occur every day, sometimes even in broad daylight, and despite the Internet, none of us will ever hear about it. The reason? Ninjas.

Ninjas are the sneakiest, most effective killers on this planet. They do not care about their reputation, and will not hesitate to use unorthodox methods to reach their goals. They kill, steal goods and destroy buildings, and will never get caught-nor will they go and boast about it. Instead, they go to wherever they live, and wait quietly for their next mission to come. Who they are, where they're from, who they work for and why they do it is a complete mystery. And quite frankly, that makes them just plain awesome.

Some will go and make preposterous claims, asserting that vile creatures such as zombies or pirates are better than ninjas. They're wrong. They don't know that on a daily basis the ninjas remove those lesser beings from the face of the earth. But they'll never find out. Ninjas are just that good.

Their supremacy is also visible in popular stories. First of all, zombies have bad movies and pirates have stories, while ninjas have legends. The reason their tales deserve such glory is the unbelievable exploits they do: travelling great distances, being unnoticed in a room full of people or even sometimes scaling a building using nothing but a small rope and sheer determination.

In comparison, all zombies do is walk, request brains and bite people. Pirates spend all of their time on a ship, drinking heavily and plundering other ships, only to spend the ransom on their alcohol dependence. They lack the precision, the efficiency and the elegance of the ninjas, and usually they'll suffer terrible deaths, while ninjas end their own lives once they have completed all their objectives.

Ninjas are the most dangerous force in nature, and those who dare to get in their way do not live to tell the story. Because of their secrecy, their motives are unknown, and we then all become possible victims of their wrath. Does that mean we should all live in fear of quietly disappearing in the middle of the night? Most certainly.
